Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help. I am having some friends over for Easter so I thought it would be a good idea to cook for them and stay in for the first half of Easter Sunday. The problem is 2 of them (a couple) are strict vegetarians so what do I do in this case? Do I tell them to bring their own? or have water instead? (just kidding...) The best I could think of is a vegetarian pie perhaps and boiled spinach salad and/or various salads. A salad bar could be cool and then everyone could help themselves. Any ideas? Thanks!! ![]() |

a salad bar is a good idea..then every body can take when they want..a load of food always looks really good and its a more relaxed way of eating.. when i have a BBQ i make cheese and onion sausages for the vegies. 1 large egg 3 or 4 slices of bread (crummed) 1/4 of an medium onion finely chopped and about a hadfull of grated strong cheese bit of tabasco is nice too mix it all up and shape.. fry in oil taste even better cold with dips ![]()

I agree, when you go to a dinner party, its nice and different to walk in to a table with all different type of food on it!! You can cater for all then, and it looks so inviting!!! Its a good way to lift there mood as soon as they see the delights on offer
