So once again England have embarrassed themselves with another woeful display against South Africa at the World Cup.
What's next for England? Do they need new leadership, with the coach and captain making way? I'd like to see some of the pundits that know what they are talking about (Hussain, Botham) given a chance to mould a winning team. I wonder if they would be up for the (rather difficult) challenge? What do you think? |

It's a complete disaster.
From the first match with New Zealand and the subsequent highly embarrassing "celebrations" of that defeat, it's been a shambles. The opening situation has been useless - Bell is too wimpy and Vaughan simply can't cut it. Flintoff, obviously shaken by his dunking on the pedalo, has batted pathetically, the bowling has been absurdly expensive and even Pietersen's century against the Aussies was a waste of time. South Africa walked all over them from the first ball and they deserved it. Vaughan should be dropped from the one-day team and stick to test captaincy. They need to find some tough, aggressive hitters up the order and they should also get a new coach. ![]() |
