I think people watching the show will agree that Emily spoke carelessly rather than maliciously.
Anyway, the production made a good move to chuck her out. ![]() |

Emily must be really ignorant to use that word and not be aware of the consequences. That word has connotations of slavery!!! Not a smart thing to do coming from a posh blonde student who supports the Tories…
The stupid girl has been punished and deservedly so. I don't like Charly but in this case she has done nothing wrong. Emily is the one that said it and is therefore punished. |

I agree too. (In fact why not chuck the lot out )Shame they have to be so over-careful now though. Another victory for the political-correctness lobby. ![]() |

At first I thought I would like her - but I'm soo glad she's out, I won't miss her whiney voice and how many times could she say the word 'opinion' in a conversation?

She got what she deserved in the end. That's all I have to say...even if she didn't mean it.

just a thought...
i`am not condoning racist behaviour.. for example would a homophobic be evicted if there comments was offencive, or is it one rule for one and another rule for another,,, and if one black person called another a nigger would they be kicked out or would they be warned of there behaviour,or are Big Brothers racist rules only for black people???

Completely agree with that! But all the same - im glad she was punished for what she said. Even if it wasnt meant in a racist way (which i dont think it was. . .) itd just be promoting careless word of such a horrible word really. . .

No matter how much Emily was was sorry after for saying it, that won't take back what she said to Charley, I mean yes she was very careless in choosing words and didn't think Charley would be offended as they had both already become friends, but it is a word associated with hate and ignorance toward black people so quite rightly she was thrown out and by the shocked look of Charley deep down she would have been offended and upset that a word like that was said to her in what seemed a friendly conversation, and after all the commotion of the Jade/Shilpa story every BB housemate going in would have been strongly advised about what hateful words like that can offend others in the house and the public and the massive media stories that will circle it, so in speaking she broke the biggest rule of this years house through her own ignorance and stupidity.
