A friend and I took a look this week, it's a fun place to visit and just chat and have fun.As yet have not done much with my profile but no doubt I will get round to it at some point and have a laugh

I just went in to find new people to chat too,wasn't really looking for a g/f ..
it seems i`am the only one in this forum who has found a partner on Lycos ..

To be honest I'm not really looking for anyone at the moment as my situation is a bit complicated ,but my friend has just received her degree absolute or what ever it's called.So this was just a fun way of bringing a smile to her face.Definately not something to be taken to seriously but we both love to flirt so hey why not. However I only went as far as saying hi,so along way to go yet.My friend has headed straight into another relationship and I want her to just slow down and realise she just doesn't have to rush into things.As for me not looking seems to bring men out of the wood work (must be the sign above my head saying not bothered )Before I can move forward I am concentrating on feeling strong enough to take on the role of single mother and having lots of independent interests and a good group of friends to support me.This may help me see my current relatioship in a different light and you never know I may find a way to stay with it. All ifs buts and maybes. The main thing is I am happier than I have ever been although missing the love only a good relationship can give you.
So hell here's to flirting on lycos and if someone says something that makes me sit up and take notice ,wey hey

Hey Lycos is all about fun,,,SSShhhhhhhhhhhh i used to flirt with any woman who would chat.mind you sorta still do ..LoL
Weekends was always a good laugh ,1 pc,a few mates and the odd beer..
we got cyber slapped many a time...
I think a few blokes will make you sit up and take notice. .maybe not in a good way .. LoL

You would be surprised what makes me sit up and take notice but its not as obvious as you make think Actually I am a numb skull, I joined flirt and chat which is something different? However I think you are right and will be alot of fun I will do as you say and not think about the picture, the devil in me is out and when I get round to doing my profile there it will (all bulging bits as well )A weekend of quiet catching up with all the dvd's I haven't got round to watching is my plan. So have a good one yourself

I met someone on there, but it turned out she was very paranoid and very possesive and i just had to get out of the relationship before i went mad. It went well for the first few weeks then she started making me feel bad about leaving her to come home and it just got worse from there she lived near the coast and i lived near London at the time.
But it hasnt put me off im still looking i just want to meet normal people now lol
