Default So Federer did win it again, is he the greatest ever?

The man is like a well oiled beautiful machine. The Terminator crossed with Da Vinci.

Is he the greatest ever?..

He just might be.

Your thoughts?

Smile Federer is King of Courts

Top 10 players in the the game today such as Roddick certainly think so and so do old veterans that have mastered the ATP circuit like Jimmy Lloyd and Jimmy Connors. All with lots of experience.

I would like to hear what Sampras has to say though. Fed has all the shots in the game today and dominates the game on all surfaces except from clay. At least he has something to look forward to..At 26 he can definitely beat Pete Samprtas' record of 14 slams in the next 2 years. That's when everyone will probably admit he is the best of all-time.

With tennis becoming more competitive and a faster sport, Fed sets himself apart. nadal is a few thousand points behind him when then world number one has under 8.000 points.

With Borg's record beaten he can aspire to improve and win the French, the Davis Cup, Olympic gold and a couple more slams.

And if he doesnt win all his matches atleast it proves he's human!

Angry Greatest ever - give over!

To say Federer is the greatest ever shows a total lack of understanding and ignorance of the sport. Bjorn Borg is the greatest ever tennis player and Federer is just a mere imitator in comparison.

Federer has no ability to play on surfaces other than grass and will never ever win the French Open. The arrogance of the man, with his tailored logos into his bespoke outfits is just disgusting. The man needs to learn some humility and then the game would be alot better..

He might be more arrogant than some but you can't call him ignorant of the sport because he's the world's best. What he lacks in personality traits he gains for in his all-round game.

On the contrary, Borg told fed after Wimbledon's final that he was much better than him and I don't think those words can come out easy from past competitive champs like the Iceman himself.

Fed has more to prove but it's only a matter of time before he writes history again.

Characteristics of a role model - Nadal might be better..but then again we're looking at Fed's game and if it deserves of being described as the best in history. I think it will be in 18-24 months time.

Default Look JonnyPro and Fat Elephant..

I really think I don't think that either of you really are qualified to comment on the subject... Your arguments are weak and until I hear something decent from you both I still believe that Borg is the best..
