Default London Eye

Has anyone been on the London Eye-Is it worth going. Off to London this weekend and was going to give it a try. Apparently it's £13 for half an hours "flight".

Enjoyed the london eye-was a bit worried by the queue but it only took 5 minutes to actually 'board'. It doesn't stop at all so you have to get on and off while it is moving saving a lot of time. The views are great, well worth a visit. Something you only ever need to do once though. We bought our tickets over the internet and they were delivered the next day-saved queueing to buy them

I went on the london eye a few years ago and thought it was great. I was lucky that the weather was ok, so the views were good, sounds like you were got good weather as well.

Although it would be very possible that you could go and not be able to see a thing as london isnt exactly err... famed for its good weather.

I went on the London Eye a couple of years back, it was great as the weather was clear so could see for miles.
Booked on line then picked up the ticket from a machine just next to the eye.

I would recommed anyone to go on the eye, the queue's do go down pretty quick.

The london eye gives you a fantastic view of london if you go on a nice day, but the wait to buy a ticket and to get on in the summer are crazy!
