men and recieving gifts whats the deal

Right i have a new guy in my life now this will be the first christmas and we are hooking up along with my kids(4) now he says he isnt good at reiceiving gifts at any given occasion ...... now he is a very sincere guy and says he doesnt want to offend anyone as he isnt very good at accepting presents full stop and says that my kids and i shouldnt get him anything he prefers it that way .

Is this normal for guys to be like this ????

Maybe he`s not good at saying thank you,or he might think he`s not worthy of a gift...

Maybe he is just being thoughtful and would rather you spent your money on your 4 children

Sounds like you got yourself a good guy there! Whaddya complaining about!? It's CHEAPER! HELLOO!!??
But I think it is a little unusual for blokes to be like that. My stepdad said to my Mum one time that he didn't want anything for - I think it was his birthday - but when he didn't get anything he was a miserable sod for the rest of the day!
