Default Is a flu epidemic going around?

The Telegraph, reported that we are close to suffer a flu and stomach virus epidemic. The reason is that we we have not suffered one in a long time so our immune system may have weakened.

Do you know how to protect your self against such viruses? And how?

I just read an article in the Time newspaper where the Health Secretary was saying that overuses of Antibiotics could lead to a rise in hospitals superbug.
I say, let's keep it natural !

Couldnt agree more,,

To many people run to the docs wantin pills with a runny nose...
I think most go because they cant aford to miss work, only problem is they go back to work to early and spread there germs to there workmates who then goto the docs...

i agree. i think employers would rather you take one or two days off, recover fully then come back to work functioning properly. Rather than come in spread your germs and not work to the best of your ability for up to two weeks because you need to recuperate. If you recover properly then you are less likely to catch the next cold or flu that comes around as your immune system will be back up again. Of course using the natural remedies can make this happen faster.

I don't think that you can specifically protect against viruses.

I think that the best you can do is to keep fit, refreshed and well nourished. That's the best way to help the body to form its own defences against viruses. I don't think that modern medicine can deal with them yet.

Any tips on how to do this?
