I like the Greek islands, Crete being my favourite.

Have lived, worked or holidayed in about 60 countries.
The best? It all depends on what you want. There's not much better than watching the herds of Djenne drinking from the Niger in the dust of a Malian sunset. But there's no luxury spa there...

One country that has it all is Mexico: Vast, vibrant cities, amazing festivals like the Day of the Dead, art, music, great food (forget everything you ever hated about tawdry Tex-Mex), forests, deserts and mountains, glamorous resorts, luxury hotels, wonderful beaches and coral reefs, active indigenous cultures and history everywhere- Aztec, Mayan, Spanish Colonial. And it's cheap.

Within a reasonably short flight of the UK, the most exciting place to visit is Morocco - a different world, yet with all mod cons if that's what you need.

Oh and don't bother going to Sri Lanka, go to India instead. If you've already been to India, go again.

Margate is rather nice at this time of year, you can catch a nice sunset over the ice-cream stands but you can't beat blackpool for the wildlife

Andalusia in Spain, especially Granada, Cordoba and Seville.
Amazing culture, great food, fun, sun and long siestas.

So far I've visited a load of cities in Italy, Spain and France (Pisa, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Sienna, Ancona, Pesaro, Urbino in Italy, Seville, Cadiz, Barcelona in Spain, Paris, parts of Brittany and the Riviera in France), which are all as wonderful and unique as each other in their own way... in particular though I would recommend Barcelona and Florence Next year I'm doing something a bit different and going on a cruise to Scandinavia and the Baltics (on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas)... really looking forward to adding to that list

Have been on Oriana around the Pacific - Amazing. The ship is vast and luxurious. We had great weather and there was a good mixed crowd on board. We stopped in Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti...
