Default Whitewash - how embarrasing!

Even though it hasn't finished yet, England look doomed to lose the Ashes by an embarrasing 5-0. What with our footie team's awful world cup performance and our rugby team's awful performances all year, 2007 can only get better!

Default Football?

Unfortunately England football team aren't doing too much better - can't even pass the ball to each other. McClaren has to turn things around quickly unless he begins to get known as the new Keegan!

It's a disaster. And it all goes back to that bizarre first-innings declaration in Adelaide.

Default England captaincy

Michael Vaughn has been named England captain for the world cup squad. I'm not sure he's the right man, but then again, who is?

It's not looking so good.
It doesn't look like anybody can beat Australia...
Still, maybe if England can beat South Africa, and then they decide to play as well as they can - ie Vaughan slogs a few and Flintoff actually decides to turn up with the bat - they might just have a chance.
