Is Shilpa a victim?

Does anyone think that the Bollywood queen has been getting that hard a time from the other housemates?
Personally I think Danielle only wants Jade's approval, that's why she's being so nasty but then Shipla's crocodile tears are becoming a bit tiresome. Racist abuse tho? I don't think so...

I might not know these people personally but from what I read the Brit ladies have ganged up on Shilpa.

I've only seen the show once and have not followed it because I found it uninteresting.

Shipla is obviuosly the victim here but she has a strong enough personality not to crack up. She has cried, fine but the situation could have been much worse and more tense...

People should embrace cultural differences as something new and "fresh"..and not provoke and fight orelse things could have bitter endings.

Whoever it was..Danielle or Jackiey or ??? They're just not cultivated and educated enough to learn how to deal with new changes when put in situations that are not on their path of doing things.

I don't think Shilpa is that innocent herself, she makes fun of other accents, she seems to not care what she says, but when others say anything she runs to the men, and starts crying!!!
Shes quite manipulative, I think. And i really don't think racism comes into it!!!
Isn't Jade mixed race?? I do feel Danielle is quite immature!!! She does seem to be trying to impress Jade.
But this has been blown totally out of proportion, on telly today!!!!!

I think the girls are horrible. I don't think it's racism but it's definitely bullying. They moaned about the chicken all last night from the living room but didn't once go in to help. Just shouted things at her. I think they decided they weren't going to eat the meal before they even saw it.

I hate bullies and I think that's exactly what they are. Just like Grace in the summer, I hope they get the same boos from the crowd.

I agree a bit about the chicken, But Shilpa wont let them in the kitchen!! Shilpa kept opening the oven, and not letting the chicken cook!!
But i agree they don't stop moaning about the food!!
They should all cook for themselves, then they cant mone!!
They are being immature!!!
But i don't feel sorry for Shilpa, she gives as good as she gets, But she goes and crys to the boys about it!!!!

Shilpa may be a little to much sometimes but its in a nice way and she means no harm. The bullying aimed at her must stop and C4 must act on this. we would not accept this in the workplace or schools so why on Tv.

This is Big Brother it purposely sets out to create an amospere where these conflicts arise
If anyone has read Lord of the Flies they will probably agree it is the nature of the beast in certain situations people act differently

Shilpa is not naive, she has taken the mick out of JADE, JADES MUM, and some of the others. But people seem to forget that!!!!

I have to say that Shilpa is most definitely a victim but i wouldn't say that it is racist. The people in the house have no idea about Shilpa's life in India so I would suggest that Shilpa is a victim of ignorance there is noone in the house that has really taken time to find out about Shilpa's life except Jermaine
