Arrow What did you get upto during Valentine's Day?

Was Valentine's hyped so much to the extent than when the actual day came nobody felt doing anything?

I found so, so I stayed at home instead and just spoke to friends and family...oh yeah..and handed out a gift too!

Default Valentines with the girls

I had a great valentines. Me and my girlfriends threw a valentines party which consisted of half a dozen bottles of wine, great food with cream cakes for dessert. We watched the Brits, Desperate Housewives, some Chick Flick and we didn't even slag off boys.

Who says you need a man to enjoy yourself on Valentines!!

Default valentines rampage

I didn't plan to go out, It seemed like it was going to be one of those evenings where I aimlessly play on a computer and eat a jacket potato, but my house mate come in thinking it would be a good idea to go to the local pub....This turned out to be a rampage of sexy women passing round notes to woo men with. I received a note saying 'hey buff boy in the black shirt come talk to me im on table 15' I wasn't feeling it at all she was minging and a bit psycho, never the less I chatted her up before going upstairs and walking in to a room full of women trying out vibrators and dildos at an ann summers do. This entertained us somewhat for a further hour or two, and gave us good starting points in conversations for the rest of the evening, One being 'wheres my harry potter vibrator gone' (which didn't do very well with the ladies to be honest...... anyway

Yep,mine was totally different.First part of the night was going to be spent watching my two oldest at a music festival. My son dressed as a big green caterpillar singing the bug song with his class. My daughter doing something similar, with a two year old in tow things got hectic and two separate cars was decided on to get everyone there and have an escape plan when my little one had had enough. Just before I set out with him being last to leave, he cut his hand quite badly. No stitches required but he certainly was not in the mood for a concert.Spent evening cuddled up to him on sofa, building lego towers and watching Brits. Everyone returned very late and all I wanted to do was go to sleep, and that was what I did
Kids hey, never make any plans you are not willing to change. Still quite a lovely night.
So holidays starts tomorrow which means this forum will get a long over due break from wordsworth For those with children have a great time

Sorry to hear that Samp Senorita! He must be a mean piece of work to wait for Valentine's Day - or did you nag too much about flowers and cards?

Anyway, I didn't get any flowers, as my florist wanted £120 for 12 red roses!! A total rip-off - the girl in the shop actually apologised at the price.

So we went out for a nice meal and saw a shlocky romantic film - Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore in 'Music and Lyrics' - harmless and sweet.

A nice date, actually.
